I am a Peruvian born, Canadian raised and educated geologist. I received my Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Toronto in 1997 and since that time I have worked in mining exploration as well as on environmental and hydrogeological projects.
Select Project Experience Highlights:
Imagine Lithium (2023)- Senior Geologist on winter, summer and fall drill programs on the Jackpot Property north of Nipigon. Monitored NQ and HQ rigs drilling for spodumene bearing pegmatites. Planned and executed a reconnaissance exploration program to follow up on known lake sediment anomalies.
Larche Lithium Project (2023) – Project manager for the Larche Property lithium prospect in the Geraldton/Gathering Lake area. Planned, managed and carried out some of the field work for the initial reconnaissance exploration program. The program consisted of surface mapping and sampling, channel sampling and biogeochemical sampling. This project is available for option or sale.
United Lithium (2022) -Barbara Lake Project – Project manager for the Barbara Lake Lithium Project. Planned and conducted the initial reconnaissance exploration program in the autumn of 2022. Responsible for planning the exploration program to meet the financial obligations of the company’s option agreement.
Class 1 Nickel and Technologies (2021) – Assisted with the management of the Phase 1 and 2 drill program for the Alexo-Dundonald project. The aim of the project was to expand historical pit resources at Alexo and confirm geophysical anomalies at Dundonald.
Hochschild Mining (2011-2020) – Annual audit work on Arcata, Pallancata & Selene mines, Peru, San Jose Mine, Argentina as well as preparation of NI 43-101 reports for the three active mines in 2019 and 2020.
Annual audit visits to Hochschild’s operations, observing underground mining methods, QA/QC procedures, resource calculation methods, database procedures and exploration planning.
Lithium Americas (2019) – Assisted Andeburg Consultants with the Feasibility Study for LAC’s lithium brine Cauchari-Olaroz Project in Jujuy, Argentina in 2017, the Resource Estimate Update in 2019 and Updated Feasibility Study in 2019.
Vane Minerals (2016) – Evaluated three properties in the Mazatlan province of Mexico.
Goldsmith S.A. (2014-2015) – General Manager – In charge of 25 tpd Eladium Mine in Arequipa, Peru, 75 tpd Mollehuaca plant near Chala and a 12 person office in Lima.
Endeavour Silver (2014-2018) – Terronera and El Compas Projects, Mexico
Site visits to the Terronera property in Puerto Vallarta and El Compas in Zacatecas where I observed the exploration work and drilling and collected confirmation QA/QC samples for the NI 43-101 report. Assisted in the preparation of a PEA for Terronera and a Resource Estimate report for El Compas.
Carlisle Goldfields (2012-2015) – Burnt Timber, Maclellan, Last Hope and Farley Lake Properties
Site visit, QA/QC sampling, and author on Carlisle’s properties in the Lynn Lake area of Manitoba. Assisted in the preparation of a PEA for the collection of properties that was sold to Alamos Gold.
Red Metal Resources (2008-2009) – Country Manager
Responsible for procuring properties as well as supervising drill program and exploration on the Farellon Project.
